Many of these from the Postcard from Puniho project are very tiny. Not much bigger than a matchbox. The funny thing is that I found the small size
liberating rather than limiting! I found that I could say quite a lot with one brushstroke at this nano scale. While painting a cherry I caught sight of myself in the mirror - I always appear to be there even when I don't quite feel like it... and quickly did this tiny portrait. It's quite "Baconish" I guess. |
