This is another encaustic wax work. Every so often I try wearing contact lenses instead of my glasses. I found the idea of a painting where I am
poking myself in the eye to be totally irresistible. I actually gave in and used a photo taken with a newly aquired digital camera as the source. These images are essentially my take on the absurdity of our existential human condition. |
