I recall this one being painted shortly after I had seen the touring Baron Von Thysson exhibition of modern art. I was experimenting with a kind of neo-impressionist or divisionist technique, employing small dabs and brushstrokes of broken colour. I'm not sure if I am writing or drawing on the notepad.
